    Bio

    Vytautas Magnus University (VMU) is a classical university based on the common beliefs and values of freedom, openness and dialogue. The University provides degree studies of all three cycles – bachelor, master and PhD studies which cover a broad spectrum of fields ranging from humanities, social sciences and arts to the fundamental sciences, environmental sciences and biotechnologies. VMU works with many universities and scientists around the globe, implementing projects, enhancing student and staff exchanges, and improving the study and research system. VMU is in close cooperation with Lithuanian Cybercrime Center of Excellence for Training, Research and Education (L3CE), collaborating in a variety of cybersecurity-related research and project activities.

    Activities in Safe4Soc

    In the Safe4Soc project, VMU leads workpackage WP9, dealing with project communication, dissemination, and exploitation issues, including project identity establishment, dissemination actions, impact monitoring. Also, VMU coordinates task 2.2, focused on the analysis of regulatory requirements, legal compliance with relevant international cooperation and information sharing agreements, as well as the task 5.3 on multiple source AI threat detection, using external incident data to improve local threat detection, combining multiple related incident data to improve detection or threat intelligence.
