Paris, France: 28 January 2026
The SAFE4SOC consortium convened its General Assembly (GA) on 27-28 January 2026 at the offices of Institut Mines-Télécom (IMT) in Paris. The two-day meeting brought together project partners to review progress, consolidate results, and align final activities as the project enters its concluding phase.
The General Assembly served as a strategic coordination forum, focusing on the integration of technical outcomes, validation and demonstration results, and preparation for final development and integration stages.
During the sessions, partners reviewed the current status of SAFE4SOC’s core results, including:
· structured alert exchange based on IDMEFv2,
· gateway-based approaches for controlled SOC information sharing,
· AI-supported analytics aimed at assisting security analysts,
· pilot and validation activities conducted under realistic operational constraints, and
· dissemination and impact activities ensuring visibility and reuse of project outputs.
A key emphasis of the General Assembly was cross-WP alignment. Different working groups’ leaders synchronised remaining technical, validation, and communication activities to ensure coherence between development outcomes, demonstrations, and supporting documentation. This alignment is essential to present a clear and verifiable IDMEFv2 advancements narrative to external stakeholders and reviewers.
In addition, the consortium discussed the post-project perspective, focusing on how SAFE4SOC results, standards contributions, specifications, tools, and lessons learned, can remain accessible and reusable beyond the project’s lifetime. Special attention was given to ensuring that outputs are understandable and actionable for SOC practitioners, standardisation bodies, open source communities and policy stakeholders.
The SAFE4SOC GA in Paris confirmed that the project is progressing toward its integration phase with a aligned understanding of priorities, responsibilities, and evidence requirements, laying a solid foundation for successful IDMEFv2 format advancement and its’ deployment artefacts release.
