Open Source in Practice: Constraints Observed in SAFE4SOC WP6
WP6 meetings in spring 2025 provided a realistic view of open-source dissemination. While community engagement is valuable, it requires sustained effort, clear documentation, and prioritisation.
SAFE4SOC partners recognised that not all connectors could be supported equally. This led to a focused approach targeting tools with active communities and higher reuse potential.
The experience illustrates the importance of aligning open-source ambitions with available resources.
