Resetting Momentum: SAFE4SOC’s Second-Phase Kick-Off
The SAFE4SOC kick-off meeting in February 2025 marked a clear transition into a second, more execution-focused phase. Partners openly acknowledged delays, staffing changes, and coordination challenges experienced earlier in the project.
Rather than obscuring these issues, the consortium used the moment to reset priorities, strengthen governance, and refocus on deliverables, dissemination, and legacy.
This reset illustrates an often under-documented aspect of EU projects: adaptability. The ability to recognise problems and recalibrate is essential for delivering meaningful outcomes.
