Designing for SOC Diversity: SAFE4SOC’s Interoperability Challenge
Consortium meetings in March 2024 highlighted the diversity of SOC environments across partners-different tools, maturity levels, and mandates. SAFE4SOC addressed this by avoiding assumptions of uniformity.
Interoperability was approached through common data structures and gateways rather than tool replacement. This allowed each SOC to retain autonomy while still participating in shared workflows.
Main note: SAFE4SOC designed interoperability around diversity, not uniformity.
